Stella at The Royal Danish Ballet

The other day Stella was at a photo shoot at The Royal Danish Ballet. In our second issue of Stella magazine we have a story about ballet and a shorter interview with the Principal Dancer Susanne Grinder. Photographer Pernille Ringsing shot the beautiful and so talented ballerina - so you can look forward to some amazing pictures in our next issue coming out in March.

Luella´s Guide

Luella´s Guide to English Style is a beautiful book made by the British designer Luella Bartley. Stella love the cover that has an old school look with a neon pink elastic band to seal it - a really nice combination. Luella shares her inspiration and the book is full of beautiful drawings by Zoe Taylor and pictures of different icons and styles. You can buy the book here.

Pernille Ringsing is a really talented Danish photographer. Her recurring photographic expression is minimal, complimented by her strong lighting technique, graphic lines and unique compositions.

Cool Patti Smith

Stella magazine can highly recommend the American artist, singer songwriter and poet Patti Smith´s book  "Just Kids". The book captures her life as a young woman coming to New York and meeting the like minded artist Robert Mapplethorpe. 
Patti Smith describes the day that Mapplethorpe created his exquisitely androgynous image of her in white shirt, black pants and black jacket for the cover of her “Horses” album.
