Update from Stella mag

Enough with the silence! 

No more tossing and turning over the resistance against Stella Magazine’s retirement on the one hand and the lack of money to keep going full speed on the other. We have to say it like it is. The paper version of Stella is having a break. 
This does not mean that Stella is over (no-no). All of us editors are still here in Copenhagen making a living and we still get a lot of inspirational and interesting inquiries from all of you creative people. One week from Tokyo the next from New York. 
Wow and thanks! 

The paper version may take a respite but the Stella blog is still up and running. Let’s benefit from that! 

In the future we will be updating the blog with your projects and inspiration once a week trying to make both blog and Facebooksite as interesting and community-like as possible. You guys are so talented and we want to share what you have to give and show. 

We hope you will contribute to the Stella community – love, share and spread the word.

Our fourth issue of Stella magazine, The Dark Issue, is out on the 26th of March. You might think that ‘darkness’ is quite a sombre theme for the spring issue of Stella Magazine, but the stories are not about death, evil, metal and goth as one might expect. Instead we have focused on the light side of darkness – different shades of grey where melancholy resides – a place from which a lot of grand art has originated. In the issue you will find an interview with the Danish artist Maria Rubinke, an article about music from Iceland and a delicious recipe for a the darkest chocolate cake, plus lots of other good stuff.

murmur - a cool Japanese magazine

Look at these beautiful covers. We came across this nice Japanese magazine called murmur. It is published by a Japanese fashion brand and the theme is "To live beautiful and sweet". The magazine is  about eco-fashion and sustainable lifestyles. Maybe a good theme for Stella to look into for the next issue...? Please let us know if there are subjects you wish to read about in Stella.
